Dr. Riley joined Martin Orthopedics in 2012. He is a native of Little Rock. He graduated with University Honors from Arkansas State University with a degree in biology and went on to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he received his M.D. in 2006. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of
Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, located in Galveston, Texas. he then went on to complete a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at the prestigious Foundation for Orthopedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research at Texas Orthopedic Hospital, Houston, Texas.

Dr. Riley’s orthopedic expertise focuses on entirely arthroscopic techniques, joint replacement and fracture treatment. He has a special interest in shoulder and upper-extremity repair and rehabilitation. In this area, Dr. Riley is active in research and has authored numerous orthopedic
book chapters and scientific papers on subjects ranging from clinical research to new surgical techniques. This research has been nominated twice for the Neer Award, the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons’ highest honor. He is also on the reviewer panel for a leading orthopedic journal.

When he is not working, Dr. Riley enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and dog. He is an active outdoors person and loves all types of sports.
