Dr. Sam Moore is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Reconstructive Surgery (joint replacement). He enjoys taking care of patients with sports injuries and performing arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. His training at Bone and Joint Hospital in Oklahoma City also gave him special skills in total knee, hip and shoulder replacements. As an Osteopathic Physician, Dr. Moore is trained in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and focuses on treating each patient as a whole person.
Dr. Moore is a native of Fort Smith who graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a B.S. in Microbiology in 2003. After receiving his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007, Dr. Moore completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Moore is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association and the Arkansas Osteopathic Medical Association.
