Samuel Baxter M.D.
Hip & Knee Surgery
Dr. Samuel Baxter’s primary focus is hip and knee surgery, including total hip arthroplasty, total knee arthroplasty, and partial knee arthroplasty. He enjoys performing any procedure that will increase his patients’ quality of life, whether it’s a smaller one such as knee arthroscopy or a larger one like revision total knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Baxter received his biology degree from the University of Arkansas and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed an adult reconstruction fellowship at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Baxter is skilled at discussing whether it’s the right time for a hip or knee replacement with his patients. His goal is to make his patients feel 100% confident that they are getting the best care they can receive and that they feel confident in his surgical team.
“I am most passionate about doing the best job I can do for every patient,” Dr. Baxter says. “It excites me that I can give people the opportunity to be able to become more mobile and enjoy their daily life with much less pain.”
